How Often Do I Need to Get Agnes RF Treatments?

Agnes RF is a unique device that combines radiofrequency energy with microneedling to combat sagging skin, as well as stubborn fat in the jowls and under-eye area. It works by stimulating collagen production in the skin, changing the position of existing collagen in the skin, and, depending on the chosen settings, reducing fat in the treatment area.

As an innovative solution to signs of aging in the skin, Agnes RF has unsurprisingly become a popular cosmetic treatment. One of the most common questions among our patients is how often they’ll need to undergo this treatment to retain youthful-looking skin. Here, we’ll answer this question and provide an overview of the results you can expect from Agnes RF treatment.

How Often Should You Get Agnes RF?

The frequency of Agnes RF treatments that you’ll need to keep up with the results will depend on your cosmetic goals. For example, if you undergo Agnes RF treatment to eliminate excess fat in the jowls, the treatment will get rid of the targeted fat cells for good. So, unless you gain weight in the future, the results should remain unchanged without additional treatments.

That being said, if you undergo Agnes RF treatment to rejuvenate the skin, the aging process will continue as years go by. While this treatment will tighten up the skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, the aging process could gradually diminish the results. To retain rejuvenated skin, you may need to return for touch-up treatments.

Results From Agnes RF Treatment

Although you’ll notice some improvement to the appearance of the skin immediately after Agnes RF treatment, you won’t see the full results for 2 to 6 months. At this point, your skin will have had time to develop new collagen and the body to remove excess fat cells that were targeted during treatment. Many patients undergo a series of 2 to 3 treatments, each spaced out by a few months, to obtain optimal results.

At Florida Face and Body, we’re proud to offer Agnes RF as a non-surgical treatment for signs of aging. To learn if you’re a candidate for this procedure, schedule an appointment with us today!
