Procedure Details

After local anesthesia, a very small incision is made by each ear lobe and under the chin. The procedure is done and fat removed. If Renuvion is done, the treatment is done through the same incisions to further tighten loose skin.

Dr. Mahootchi will recommend that you wear a special compression garment for the neck. Minor swelling and bruising are natural and normal. About 80-90% of the swelling should resolve in the first two weeks, with essentially all of it resolved 6-8 weeks after surgery.

After VASERlipo the area treated with VASER, the results are very quick. You will immediately notice a reduction in unwanted fat along the contours of your neck. As the swelling gradually subsides, your results will continue to get even better over time. Maximum results are generally seen within three to six months after the procedure.
